StormKloth Performance Fleece

StormKloth Performance Fleece is identical to our StormKloth 2007 except that the outer layer is softly fleeced. The jackets retain their wind and water proofing and are still breathable. The 2007 fleeces are lighter and softer than their predecessors, but retain their thermal insulation and fast wicking properties.

StormKloth Performance Fleece is made from three bonded layers.

The outer layer is a soft 140g polyester fleece.

The inner bonded layer is our proprietary StormTek monolithic membrane. This layer is waterproof, preventing any moisture that does penetrate the water resistant layer from getting any further. The layer is breathable, allowing water vapour from the skin to pass outwards. The 2007 StormTek is a brand new membrane. It has significantly improved stretch and superior performance.

The inner lining is a fast wicking 140g fleeced polyester which has two functions. It acts as a thermal layer retaining body heat in cold conditions, and also feeds perspiration into the StormTek membrane.

Together these three layers make a fabric is wind and water proof, fast wicking and warm. It is a technical fabric that is ideal for a todays discerning outdoor enthusiast.
