StormKloth 07

StormKloth 07 is the result of many months of development and field trials. The 07 StormKloth is lighter and has significantly more stretch than its predecessors, but retains its thermal insulation and fast wicking properties. StormKloth 07 offers three season comfort, but when used as an outer layer will not ice up or crack in the coldest weather.

StormKloth 07 is made from three bonded layers.

The outer is is a water resistant polyester printed with a como pattern or in a soild colour. This layer is canvas woven for toughnes and tear resistance and yet is light enough to stretch in all four directions..

The inner layer is our proprietary StormTek monolithic membrane. This layer is waterprof, preventing any moisture that does penetrate the water resistant layer from getting any further. The layer is breathable, allowing water vapour from the skin to pass outwards. The 07 StormTek is a brand new membrane. It has significantly improved stretch and superior performance.

The inner layer is a fast wicking fleeced polyester which has two functions. It acts as a thermal layer retaining body heat in cold conditions, and also feeds perspiration into the StormTek membrane.

Together these three layers make a light, stretchable, packable fabric that is wind and water proof, fast wicking and warm. It is a technical fabric that is ideal for a todays discerning outdoor enthusiast.
